Even though the creators of this revolutionary invention could have spent a bit more time in thinking about how to call the device, TransMaker by Migoal (they should have had a longer brainstorming session about the company's name, as well) will forever change the way you are using your S4. Although the smartphone provides you with good service, a large display and a (somewhat) decent battery, sometimes people would just prefer (or need) to have a tablet or a laptop. The problem is that having multiple devices leads to complications. Given the fact that nowadays cloud computing is so advanced and you can easily synchronize your gadgets, it's still an undeniable fact that having only one device would be infinitely superior. This is where the TransMaker comes into play. As I've said, it's a revolutionary invention that lets you transform your phone into a tablet or a laptop, depending on what you need at the given time. This Transformers style of metamorphosis will you let you handle all your information much more easily by having it in a single device. You will no longer have to think about syncing accounts and all the other unpleasant activities we frequently forget about.
How does it work?
It's very simple principle, really. You basically insert your phone face down into a tablet. When you do that, your phone will transform into a tablet so you can use it directly. This way you can have your data and information, accounts, etc. on just one centralized contraption. If you need a tablet, you just insert it and BOOM! – you have a tablet. If you need a laptop, you just add a keyboard to the tablet and SHAZAM! – you have a laptop. It's all very simple which is the mark of the true genius.
Apart from having all information on one device, there are other benefits, as well. For example, you can use your phone's data plan to access the Internet, which means that you can use Internet anywhere, whether there is Wi-Fi or not, and you won't have to pay separate for two devices. This essentially means that you will always be connected to the Internet (as long as your data plan can cover it).
The devices basically don't have their own processing power and will instead use the phone's, which means that their batteries will drain more slowly. The downside is that the phone will have to process all the information on the screen and even though it won't have to power it, it will still have to perform all the calculations to show what you need on one of the two screens you've chosen – either the 10.1-inch model with 1280 x 800 resolution or the 11.6-inch with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Of course, your Galaxy will powerful enough to perform all the necessary computing, but I felt like it was good idea to inform you about this aspect of the TransMaker.
Both the display and the keyboard will have their batteries, respectively 5000 mAh and 6000 mAh, which means that they won't drain your phone's energy in order to power up. Since no battery from the phone will be used to show the images, this will give you a few extra hours of work than you're used to when tinkering just the phone.
All in all, this is a great device for S4 owners and will truly revolutionize the way you use your device. Migoal are truly giving us a glimpse of the future; I just hope that not all future companies will have such ridiculous names…
